| This site attempts to address these and related questions from the point of view of belief in the Old and New Testaments as the literal word of God.
It is divided into six parts. The first part is a photo essay. It presents various photographs with accompanying bible verses describing Hitler and his crimes from a Christian point of view. OPEN HEREThe second part, “Christianity and Hitler” is a brief overview consisting of twelve main points. Hitler’s religious statements; his dealings with the churches; secular elements in his thought; Martin Luther – these and other aspects are studied to demonstrate that Hitler’s words and actions were not in agreement with biblical Christianity. OPEN HERE Part three is a response to Jim Walker’s “Hitler’s Christianity” website, http://www.nobeliefs.com/Hitler1.htm. It examines numerous errors, logical flaws, and distortions of fact on the site. OPEN HEREThe fourth part is an open letter to some academics. OPEN HEREThe fifth part is a book length essay on Christianity and National Socialism, “A Christian Looks at the Holocaust.” It is too ponderous for the internet and needs drastic revision, but does have historical and background information about the origins of National Socialism. An outline linked to the various parts of the essay has been provided to facilitate skimming and selective reading. OPEN HEREThe fifth part is not well-written or well-organized. This sixth part (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)- a book-length essay titled Hitler, the Holocaust, and the Bible – is considerably different and, hopefully, an improvement. The overall plan of this work can easily be seen from the Table of Contents OPEN HERE. Each section in the Contents is linked to the text. Brief explanatory comments have been added to the more important sources in the Bibliography (open here). The whole or any part of this essay can be downloaded for personal use. If there are any historical errors in the book I welcome correction. |
